Are You Lookin' Everywhere Except The Right Place?

There has been a big misconception about mistakes and the reasons for failure...

Do you find yourself saying (or others you associate with)....
"The market is too saturated"
"I don't get enough traffic"
"People just aren't buying these days"
"We're in a recession and people are struggling"

Those are excuses. NOT reasons!

Yes, there has been a recession declared...SO WHAT! NOW is the BEST time to be in business for yourself! Millionaires are made in times of chaos! Not one thing is standing in the way of your success......BUT YOU!

Nothing or no one but YOU is to blame for the mistakes and shortcomings you've had on your journey to success (that's if your following my tracks). If you aren't getting enough traffic...change the way you get traffic! If your wasting your time buying leads....please stop. please. If you think people aren't buying "these days"......guess again. They don't want to buy from YOU!

But why? Why don't they want to buy from you?

Maybe the question I should be asking is....What can you do to MAKE them BUY from YOU?

People join people, not companies. They need solutions to problems, and someone trustworthy to give them the solution. Hint: That's You. They don't want to be sold, they don't want an opportunity being shoved in their face! They want to be relaxed enough to feel like it was their decision to take on opportunity. People sell themselves!

I hope your not wondering how people sell themselves........but if you are.....I'll explain.

No one buys something because they need it. They buy to solve a problem, and they make the purchase based on emotions. For example: A guy needs to buy some dependable deodorant since he's out of his old stick. He goes to the store, gets to the aisle and see's 100 deodorant choices. Which one does he choose? All of them claim to do the same thing....protect against odor. His brain then starts to pull up "top-of-the-mind" brands that stand out above the rest. He remembers seeing a commercial for "Axe" products and how the guy who wore them had flocks of women chasing him.......he then VERY QUICKLY thinks to himself, "I want flocks of women chasing me".....and he picks up a stick of Axe deodorant. Out of all the 100's of choices he had, he chose the brand that stuck out to him, solved his original problem, and gave him something extra.........because of the perceived value.

Understand now?

People join people.......just as people join brands. If your not sticking out from the rest of the 100's of choices.....no one will ever notice you! If you aren't adding value to your brand (You, Inc) then the potential buyer will choose another brand (Other Guy, Inc) that does.

People seem to make excuses instead of admitting things are their fault. This is linked to fear of rejection.....it happens. 95% of the people you introduce to your business will say NO (So get over it NOW). The reasons for them saying no cannot be found in no other place, or resource....but yourself. - (unless their not even in your targeted audience...then you have a different problem) You know what your doing right, and you know what your doing wrong. For starters.....stop doing things wrong! Focus on what your doing right, and focus more on it. You don't have to know everything now, you actually will never know everything. The things you do know how to do right will lead you to understand why and how to not do things wrong. Let me say that again.

Studying "other" Successful Marketers/Guru's/Experts - you know...the "Big Guys"

One of the most important things I've learned since entering the Internet Marketing world, was to learn from the people who are already doing what you want to do. In the beginning I had no idea just who the successful marketers/Guru's/Experts were, because EVERYONE said that they were. So I went on trusting everyone who had a good lookin' website and claimed I could make a whole buncha money if I bought their product. As I hopped from person to person, opportunity to opportunity, sales page to sales page.....I noticed something. I haven't seen to much of the same people, always someone new. The only person that I grew to recognize was Mike Filsame, so I started to follow him. I really did grow alot reading what he wrote and watching how he marketed. That guy always had a new website....I could tell he was making bucks! ANYWAY....as you know in the internet marketing world, most all the "big guys" know each other and promote each others stuff. This method introduced me to alot of intelligent and cool people such as Frank Kern, Mike Dillard and Yanik Silver. You'll hear enough about Frank and Mike from me as time passes, but this Yanik guy.....I gotta tell ya.....He is one smart dude.

In efforts to study Frank Kern (A Real Mass Controller), I went through all my Older > Gmail to see if I could find any nuggets I forgot about or never noticed (and yes...I found a pile of nuggets!!) . There were 82 e-mails that mentioned the name Frank Kern, and I finally attracted a truckload of nuggets in e-mail #25 from Jeff Walker on Nov.21.08. He was talking about saving copywriting in Swipe Files (...hope you have one....better yet you better have one!!....Create New > Folder > "Swipe Files".....then copy & paste whatever you like). He was talking about how he's swiped from Frank and a few other guys but his friend Yanik Silver had a new site that launched with a "REALLY killer sales letter". So I decided to check it out, because copy is very important! So I clicked the link...and here's this super long sales letter that I didn't want to read. (While Scrolling) I saw a numbered list and went back up to read it. (Get Ready!) That list was actually what he was giving away on his site. (for free....sorta)

He called it"The 34 Rules for Maverick Entrepreneurs". (he said he didn't want to keep them a secret so he posted them on his blog and got 369 comments!)

  1. It's got to be a BIG idea that you, your team and your customers can "get" in seconds.
  2. Strive to create 10x -- 100x in value for any price you charge. Your rewards are always proportionate to the value you provide.
  3. You must charge a premium price so you have a large margin to provide an extraordinary value & experience.
  4. Provide a 'Reason Why' customers should do business with you and pay you a premium.
  5. Get paid before you deliver your product or service. And when possible figure out how to create recurring revenue from transactions.
  6. You get to make the rules for your business. Don't let industry norms dictate how you'll work or who you'll work with.
  7. Create your business around your life instead of settling for your life around your business.
  8. Consistently and constantly force yourself to focus on the 'critically few' proactive activities that produce exponential results. Don't get caught up in minutia & bullshit.
  9. Seek to minimize start-up risk but have maximum upside potential.
  10. Get your idea out there as fast as possible even if it's not quite ready by setting must-hit deadlines. Let the market tell you if you have a winner or not. If not -- move on and fail forward fast! If it's got potential -- then you can make it better.
  11. Find partners and team members who are strong where you are weak and appreciate being paid on results.
  12. Your reputation always counts. Honor your obligations and agreements.
  13. Never, ever get paid based on hours worked.
  14. Leverage your marketing activities exponentially by using direct response methods and testing.
  15. Measure and track your marketing so you know what's working and what's not.
  16. Bootstrap. Having too much capital leads to incredible waste and doing things using conventional means.
  17. Your partners and employees actions are their true core -- not what they tell you.
  18. Keep asking the right questions to come up with innovative solutions. "How?", "What?", "Where?", "Who Else?" & "Why?" open up possibilities.
  19. You'll never have a perfect business and you'll never be totally "done". Deal with it.
  20. Focus most of your time on your core strengths and less time working in areas you suck at.
  21. Make it easier for customers to buy by taking away the risk of the transaction by guaranteeing what you do in a meaningful way.
  22. Always have something else to sell (via upsell, cross-sell, follow-up offer, etc) whenever a transaction takes place. The hottest buyer in the world is one who just gave you money.
  23. Always go back to your existing customers with exceptional offers and reasons they should give you more money. It's 5x less expensive to sell to happy customers than go find new ones.
  24. However the flip side is - fire your most annoying customers. They'll be replaced with the right ones.
  25. The marketplace and competitors are always trying to beat you down to a commodity. Don't let that happen.
  26. Develop and build your business's personality that stands out. People want to buy from people.
  27. Create your own category so you can be first in the consumer's mind.
  28. Go the opposite direction competitors are headed -- you'll stand out.
  29. Mastermind and collaborate with other smart entrepreneurs if they have futures that are even bigger than their present.
  30. Celebrate your victories. It's too easy to simply move on to your next goal without acknowledging and appreciating the 'win'.
  31. Make your business AND doing business with you FUN!
  32. Do the unexpected before and after anything goes wrong so customers are compelled to 'share your story'.
  33. Get a life! Business and making money are important but your life is the sum total of your experiences. Go out and create experiences & adventures so you can come back renewed and inspired for your next big thing.
  34. Give back! Commit to taking a % of your company's sales and make a difference. If this becomes a habit like brushing your teeth pretty soon the big checks with lots of zeros won't be scary to write. If you think you can't donate a percentage of your sales simply raise your price.

Abundant Thinking - My Newest Reality

So I finally came to the conclusion of wondering how to achieve success. Yes, it is through positive thinking, but a deeper concentration is needed. Certain emotions have to be blocked out of your life forever, to see manifestation in its true form. You have to LET GO of ALL worry and doubt, because those two things will continue to push your desires farther & farther away from you.

What is your reason to fear? What are you scared of? Are you scared of failing? Are you scared of being rejected? In order to have experience in something you have to fail. The thing that most people don't do.........is fail forward.

What are you doubting? Do you doubt you can get people to your website? Do you doubt that you can make 6 figures online? Maybe the real question is how do you do it? I'll admit that its intimidating to be a newcomer, or "smart beginner" living in the online world. But once you change the way you think, you automatically become a expert (or guru as some say). Why? Because the folks who've made 6 figures, even millions of dollars online all have the same thing in common....a successful mindset.

I'm not sure of your level of belief, but if you don't believe, you won't become who you want to be. Simple as that. The hard part is training your thoughts, and killing the demons that frequently show up in them. Your familiar with the demons I'm speaking of right? Fear, doubt, frustration, anger? Yep. Those are the demons that haunt your thoughts and keep you from the things you truly want. The power of the mind is the most life-changing information I've ever learned. As I continued to grow, so did my thoughts. But I couldn't figure out why my life wasn't turning around. I didn't understand until Mike Dillard called them demons. These emotional demons send out a strong energy, and overlaps the energy of positivity you once had; pushing your desires further away.

I hope your beginning to understand in a more complex way than what you've learned before. The Law of Attraction has became a global phenomenon ever since the release of "The Secret". That DVD really did change my life, the only problem with it was that it ended! I wanted to be fed more of this new found knowledge. I thirsted for more control of my life, and now that I had proof it was a way to do so...I was eager to learn all I could. I first wanted to understand the concepts, so that I would be able to teach them to others. When I did, life started making more sense from that day on.

These days, I've grown remarkably and I no longer consider the Law a concept, its the true Laws of Nature, the Laws of Life, The Laws of the Universe. What you firmly hold in your mind to be true, will manifest into real physical or material form for that truth to be real. It is what you created, what you desired. Good or bad. Positive or negative.

Until You Change - Nothing Else Will

I am what I think about the most, a success. You are what you think about most. It is no limit to the person you can be. If you allow it, you can receive anything in life you desire. If you desire wealth, there are things you need to do to receive it. Anyone can obtain it, because it has already been promised and gave to us. We live in a perfect world, and it is US who see's the imperfection. Good & Bad are the judgments of our feelings. It's not good nor bad until we make it that way. Remove the feelings of emotional attachment. That is what's holding you back from seeing all of your desires come into physical or material manifestation.

Have you accepted abundance? This was a vague question I asked myself for about 2 weeks before I could even put the content with it. I knew that the right moment would come and the lightbulb would turn on in my head and I'd get it. Well....thanks to Mike Dillard the lightbulb is on and shining BRIGHT! There is no way that we can achieve the success we want if we are fearful about the outcome. What is the need to fear? You set your mind to accomplish success and that's what the outcome is going to be. Instead, some people choose to think about how they will get traffic, how will they get them to signup, how will they get them to join their business, how will they start generating income......NONE OF THAT MATTERS!!

Your job is to continue focusing on the things that you want, SUCCESS & ABUNDANCE! Do me a favor...say the word "abundance"...doesn't it feel good to say it? Just think about how good it feels to have it! Those are the thoughts you need to have. The thoughts of already being in possession of your desires. Think with the end in mind whenever you are trying to manifest a desire. Do me another favor.....say the word "manifest"......doesn't it feel good to say it? Just think about how good it feels to do it! Manifesting the things you want is up to your thought control and your emotional stabilization. If you are worried, fearful, and doutbful then you will never get the things you desire....only the things you despise.

People set themselves up for failure and don't realize their doing it. Then they wonder why things are going the way it's going, or why people are acting the way their acting. Every physical or material condition in life is a representation of our previous thoughts! If you chose to think that something bad was going to happen..then that's whats going to happen! If you chose to think that someone would double cross you....then that's whats going to happen! What you think about....comes about. It will always happen that way, because it always has happened that way. The way to reverse this habit is to reverse your habitual thinking. Rid of all the demons that are controlling your life and the lives of those closely around you. Fear, anxiety, doubt, insecurity and frustration are all demons! They will haunt you until you block them out of your life and kill them once and for all!

If you really want to live a life of true abundance (not just speaking of money!!!) You have to want to live a life of true abundance. Place abundance in your inner self (love yourself), place abundance in your family (love them), place abundance in your friends (love them), place abundance in your work (love what you do). It may seem like a easy task for some, but if your not seeing the success you want then your doing something wrong. Live the life you want to live and you'll become the person you want to be. I cannot get these thoughts out of my head and I've been trying to tell as many people as I know. the world deserves change and it's up to you to change it! In whatever way you can, bring a positive change to the world. That is the true meaning of being a leader....bringing change and LEADING!

Perry Belcher - The Twitter Man

If you haven't heard the LOUD buzz about Twitter, and social media as a whole, then you must live under a big rock. Welcome

I'll say this now, this blog will be one of the best blogs you've ever read (if you keep up with ALL the postings). This is my personal online business blog and I plan on sharing everything I learn with you right here. The beginning of my teachings will be about the power of the mind; The Laws of The Universe.
