Are You Lookin' Everywhere Except The Right Place?

There has been a big misconception about mistakes and the reasons for failure...

Do you find yourself saying (or others you associate with)....
"The market is too saturated"
"I don't get enough traffic"
"People just aren't buying these days"
"We're in a recession and people are struggling"

Those are excuses. NOT reasons!

Yes, there has been a recession declared...SO WHAT! NOW is the BEST time to be in business for yourself! Millionaires are made in times of chaos! Not one thing is standing in the way of your success......BUT YOU!

Nothing or no one but YOU is to blame for the mistakes and shortcomings you've had on your journey to success (that's if your following my tracks). If you aren't getting enough traffic...change the way you get traffic! If your wasting your time buying leads....please stop. please. If you think people aren't buying "these days"......guess again. They don't want to buy from YOU!

But why? Why don't they want to buy from you?

Maybe the question I should be asking is....What can you do to MAKE them BUY from YOU?

People join people, not companies. They need solutions to problems, and someone trustworthy to give them the solution. Hint: That's You. They don't want to be sold, they don't want an opportunity being shoved in their face! They want to be relaxed enough to feel like it was their decision to take on opportunity. People sell themselves!

I hope your not wondering how people sell themselves........but if you are.....I'll explain.

No one buys something because they need it. They buy to solve a problem, and they make the purchase based on emotions. For example: A guy needs to buy some dependable deodorant since he's out of his old stick. He goes to the store, gets to the aisle and see's 100 deodorant choices. Which one does he choose? All of them claim to do the same thing....protect against odor. His brain then starts to pull up "top-of-the-mind" brands that stand out above the rest. He remembers seeing a commercial for "Axe" products and how the guy who wore them had flocks of women chasing him.......he then VERY QUICKLY thinks to himself, "I want flocks of women chasing me".....and he picks up a stick of Axe deodorant. Out of all the 100's of choices he had, he chose the brand that stuck out to him, solved his original problem, and gave him something extra.........because of the perceived value.

Understand now?

People join people.......just as people join brands. If your not sticking out from the rest of the 100's of choices.....no one will ever notice you! If you aren't adding value to your brand (You, Inc) then the potential buyer will choose another brand (Other Guy, Inc) that does.

People seem to make excuses instead of admitting things are their fault. This is linked to fear of rejection.....it happens. 95% of the people you introduce to your business will say NO (So get over it NOW). The reasons for them saying no cannot be found in no other place, or resource....but yourself. - (unless their not even in your targeted audience...then you have a different problem) You know what your doing right, and you know what your doing wrong. For starters.....stop doing things wrong! Focus on what your doing right, and focus more on it. You don't have to know everything now, you actually will never know everything. The things you do know how to do right will lead you to understand why and how to not do things wrong. Let me say that again.
